Emperor Navarre Oxley explains to Reece that engraved in her mind by a powerful ancestor is the key to taking over multiple worlds...including Earth. Evil shape-shifting creatures known the Ciatron want to steal the map from Reece's mind and take over all of the dimensions and worlds in the universe. The Guardians must protect Reece in order to save Earth and all of the dimensions that exist due to Earth remaining unaltered.

As Reece finds herself increasingly attracted to Levi, Emperor Navarre's son and her personal guardian on Earth, she finally opens her mind to this new world and starts accepting the unique lifestyle of this enchanting world. With this, she discovers sweeping landscapes and capricious creatures who transfer their energy to the people of Pemdas. Most of all, she experiences peace in her life like nothing she has ever experienced.

Her newfound peace is instantly replaced with the shock of her life when she is placed in danger! Betrayed, the Guardians now must defeat their greatest enemy as all dimensions turn against them. They are forced to place Reece in grave danger in order to make peace with leaders of all dimensions.

Now that the Key's true identity is exposed, the Guardians find themselves in the greatest disadvantage that they have ever known. If the Guardians lose the power to protect Reece, the Key, every living being will fall victim to the greatest enemy Earth has ever known.

"Trans-dimensional romance? This has to be one of the most detailed books that I have read that wasn’t dry or boring. I mean I could imagine being in the Reece’s bedroom and feeling the soft fabric of the couch. I could see Harrison’s eyes, and what beautiful eyes they were. Not only that but the plot is actually something that I had not read before. I mean you get paranormals and stuff, but this is completely different, realms inside of realms? Delightful introduction to different dimensions with beautiful descriptions and rich development of plot and characters. Constant mispronounciation of mischievous was irritating and a hiccup in the listening experience.

Really enjoyed the story.

I loved the story. The performance not so much. Sometimes she forgot which voice to use.

The Narration Just Didn't Work For Me

This is a story that I really like. It's unique in a sort of Jane Austin meets fantasy kinda way. The world building is intriguing and you get a good feel for the different characters. And the romance is sweet, while the female lead grows into her strength. The narration, however, was aweful. With all due respect for all the effort that goes into these audio books, but the main male character's voice was cringe worthy. The narrator made him sound like a stuffy old man. NOT even close to what I would have imagined his voice to be more like. That, and the narration was really slow. If these could be redone, I would recommend a narration duo for female and male character voices. Adam Gold or Nick Cracknell would be great options for male voices. They both have a great range of accents and wonderful dramatic delivery when needed. I was so looking forward to owning and listening to this series in audio....it seriously burst my bubble.

Please get a different narrator!!!!!

This story is good. I struggled to finish it due to the narrator. I listen to tons of books on Audible and this woman is hands down the worst. Took her longer to say words than if they were spelled out!!! I want to listen to the second book but I just can't. It was literally torture to listen to this books at times. This is a good SciFi book destroyed by the narrator.

A Very Good Read

I enjoyed listening to this book. It was very well written as well as very well narrated.

Struggled to finish.

Slow narration that stressed every word. She, pulled, out, her, chair. Then, she, sat, down.

good story, annoying narration.

Story was enjoyable, though formulaic. Narration bugged the crap out of me. The main character was done very well but the accents on the others were quite annoying. And, since when do you EVER pronounce Navarre New var? And she's an actress!

Painfully narrated

Decent story, but hard to listen to the erratic cadence of the narrator, who appears to be English speaking, but apparently cannot read with the appropriate rhythm, inflection or flow.
