Yawn 😴
I got this book because I have already listened to almost every single Viking saga and novel available on audible. Unfortunately this was a big disappointment.
This book had very weakly written battle scenes. Not much to do with long ships and going a viking. Just not what one would expect in a Viking book.
The narrator did an okay job. However I'm not sure why he felt the need to give the women in the book a Russian accent when everyone else had an English accent.
If you're like me and have already listened to all the other Viking books available on Audible, then what the hell... get it. Otherwise there are much better written Viking books out there.

Boring and poorly done.
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
No one I can think of.
Would you ever listen to anything by Berwick Coates again?
Based on this book, probably not.
What didn’t you like about David Thorpe’s performance?
The voices he attempts. It's like listening to your drunk college roommate doing a Monty Python bit.

Historical Adventure Legends
Who was your favorite character and why?
King Harlod he was the brains who had to make all the tough calls
What about David Thorpe’s performance did you like?
Mr Thorpe's performance was on the mark and his characters were a pro's work of art
