I have read them all and I am going for a repeat on the series.
What did you like best about this story?
Constant moving action. Dr Scarpetta is interesting and interested. Some of her previous books have her as depressed or overly brooding. This book may have been her best in the series.

Engaging, entertaining read.
For those who love biologic science, complex story lines, and baffling cases.
This is packed with realistic characters who show a wide range of personality and weakness, some we care a lot about and others we love to despise. Criminal cases are puzzles worthy of Sir Doyle.
Not for the faint of heart. Excellent narration for the myriad of characters!

Great story!
I enjoyed the mystery until the end. I appreciate the short stories in each book and the connections to the long stories that you need to read/listen to the books in order to catch all the links.

Patricia is a Mystery Writing Ass
This book is off the chain! Suspense equal to Hitchcock!! Crime riddles hard to figure out and the ending exceptionally chilling! I have just found this author and cannot put her books down - the intellectual stimulation the truthfulness of character and the clear way of explaining events is so clear and deep! I love Kaye and want more — an exceptional writer intrigue and suspense over whelming — I’m a fan now and I give her ten stories A+ no matter who reads the books the story kept me riveted to my seat as if I was in a movie and yes I hollered at Marino!! I’ve read these 10 stories and will read the next one cause Ms. Cornwell is a writing ass as my pops would say! Great story — I do recommend d that if you have not ready anything by Ms Cornwell that you start with Book One and work your way up — it was quite remarkable to be in 1973 and see what went on during that time — and know I lived through that time and knew about the computer stuff and look at it today — anyway I’m going on to book 11. — a fantastic story and genius writer!! Enough said.
