Great read

With each edition, Ginny Dye’s books get more engaging. The action in “The Last, Long Night” is fast paced and kept my interest. Aside from the unrealistic coincidences that keep happening with the lovable characters, this book is a very good historical account of the last days of the civil war.

Great characters that seem true to the times. Great insight to the plights of African Americans and females

Another well written book.

This is my first audio book and I still think a book like this is more enjoyable when it is physically read. Call me oldfashion.

First narrator was excellent, & got used to the 2nd one. Series was excellent, thanks to Ginny Dye.

Don't end the Bregden Chrinicles!

I have listened to the first five books of the Bregden Chronicles, I absolutely love this series.
Well written and informative, these books lead us through a very horrible period of our history. It's interesting how politics never change. I am looking forward to getting the sixth book to listen to. I have to admit I have listened to the first four at least three times and know I will listen to this series numerous times in the future!

Love the story line and can't wait to listen to the next one. but maybe it's time to start another outlander type book

Feel like your living with the characters

Hope in difficult times. How dark the times were during the civil war. You feel like you are living right there and cheering on all the characters. Fantastic reading so well put together.

A good listen

Worth the listen. Not the best series I have read but it has a good historical note to it and you have to remember it is fiction.
