A balanced and intriguing account of this controversial painting ,it's artist,it's provenance and the various characters involved in its modern reappearance and sale at auction. Though not an art expert at the conclusion of this audiobook you are almost tempted to provide your own opinion of this painting once all the well researched evidence and expert opinion has been recounted.

A really interesting analysis of the circumstances and very well researched. Couldn’t stop listening. Good book for people who like to learn something about a topic they know nothing about - in this case, the art trading and attribution.

This title is an excellent story of what is likely the most controversial and arguably most interesting piece of art to have ever been sold. The author has clearly spent years tracking Leonardos Salvator Mundi through history to create this gem of a book. If you are interested in art or Leonardo da Vinci then you will love this book.
