Stephen King meets Quentin Tarantino! For the first time in the history of the world, all three Parker Ames novels are collected in one great, big, bloody box set of madness! At the end of every horror movie, one girl always survives the deadly slasher… In this case, Parker Ames not only survives, she turns the tables and dedicates her life to hunting and destroying the monsters that stalk slumber parties and campsites all across the country. Watch Parker get bloody revenge on the infamous slasher that murdered her parents in ESCAPE FROM HAPPYDALE. After that massacre, follow our heroine as she gets all kinds of savage when she battles a whole town of slashers in ESCAPE FROM BASTARD TOWN. Then witness the end of Parker’s journey as she comes out of retirement to once again go toe to toe with her arch enemy, Hurricane Williams in ESCAPE FROM SLAUGHTER BEACH! Three books in one great big bloody volume! If you love 80s horror movies and books that will beat up all the other books on your shelves, then you need this box set. WARNING: I can’t guarantee you won’t get nightmares. Horror Aterrador

Man… fun idea, but very poorly implemented. The idea of a “slasher hunter” sounds fun. Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Michael Myers right? Sure. The only problem is that this writing is just SO. POORLY. DONE. I mean, I’m not expecting Shakespeare. Ham fisted, cheesy dialogue is sort of expected for a concept like this. Even the bar set that low though, this somehow still hit it. It just felt dumb. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) talks like a cigar chomping stereotype in a B grade 80’s action movie. Every bit of logic is non sensible. Every character is unlikable, every piece of dialogue is cringe inducing, and every aspect is so derivative, and cheap. It thinks it’s cleverly skewering slasher tropes, but somehow forgot to be clever. It just feels dumb. This feels like bad middle school fan fiction. And to make matters worse. THE ENTIRE SERIES IS NARRATED BY A.I. And very poorly at that. Monotone droning. Wrong infections abound, and it also constantly mispronounces words, which is kind of telling by about the writing quality. See… A.I. does not mispronounce words by saying the WRONG WORDS. It reads what it’s given. That obviously means that all of these typos are actually WRITTEN THAT WAY. Not only does the writing feel cheap, and using AI to narrate also feels cheap, but the author couldn’t even bother to hire a proofreader (or do it himself) so the book is LOADED with typos. Just overall cheap, underwhelming, and derivative. Not worth your time. This should have been MUCH better

CHEAP, Hackneyed, typo ridden writing, AI NARRATION
