Credible feel-good kitten story
This is an excellently helpful story about grieving and finding love again that my toddler and pre-k granddaughters could both enjoy throughout bath time, hair brushing and dressing, during the Christmas holidays. Gentle, careful, thoughtful tale that explains the fluctuating emotions of both little girls and the kitten in question. Teaches empathy and attentiveness.

I'm guilty!
The story of "The Kitten Nobody Wanted" hit me hard but instead of Kitten, It's puppy. I have babies namely, Bidam, Shaider and Augustus, (got August name from the character of "The fault in our stars") that I've listened a years ago.
Because of the heartaches of losing my dogs, I started adapting persian cat instead of dog because I felt guilty to have new dogs and I have trauma of losing them.
Right now, I have 9 Persian cats. Not easy for me to re home my kittens because I treat them as my babies. Cat character is independent unlike dogs. I can leave them alone while I am working.
I am guilty to my dogs because their mom is a cat mom now. No worries, my babies you are irreplaceable. Meow!

I love this book because kittens are cute and fluffy. It is also a great book because I love the problem and how Gran, mum and dad all keep it a secret that they were getting Whiskers for Mia.

After the loss of her parents, she moves to rural Yorkshire to live with a distant uncle where she resents the wildness of the countryside. At first, she struggles to find a place in this new existence. Although unsure about her surroundings and its occupants, through the gentle guidance of the maid she gradually becomes interested in the story of Mrs Craven, who apparently used to spend her time in a garden at the house, the key to which has vanished.
