Publisher's summary

Astronomer and TV science guy Gevin Rees just landed the interview of a lifetime with the world's most famous physicist. Remarkable, because the eccentric genius is notoriously reclusive, and he's already dead.

What happens next forces Rees to run for his life from not one but two deadly assassins and global powers desperate to bury what he's just uncovered. Mind-blowing technology and solid evidence that would rewrite religious history and challenge the faith of billions.

Absolutely a pleasure!

Would you listen to The Kafir Project again? Why?

The Kafir Project kept me glued to the headphones for hours at a time. Fascinating!

Any additional comments?

Seth Andrews narrated this book. His storytelling ability is riveting.

hard to put aside

This is an engrossing story that made me want to keep listening. There characters are believable and likable, so that I quickly became interested in learning how things turned out. The weakest point is that the science behind the science fiction seemed a bit off at times, but that didn't detract much from the story.

The narration was generally very good, but there inconsistent and generally wrong pronunciation of Fermilab ( it's Fer-mi-lab not Ferm-i-lab) got on my nerves.

Wow wow wow!

One of the best books I have ever read/listened to! It is so well researched and convincingly told, that one might have thought Michael Crichton had a finger in the pie. Fantastic tension, highly convincing characters, and excellent narration. When he spoke the last word of the book - not the last sentence, the last WORD - I gasped in surprise. Seriously, literally gasped! I want more!

Good concept, really graphic details

The story was gripping, and a fascinating plot. But maybe HEARING the details of some of the bad stuff that happens (no spoilers- I promise) was very difficult. It might be a little easier to read. Seth's voice, though conveys a range that can be disturbing. Some details were a little too graphic.

Store brand Dan Brown

If you like the Dan Brown (Angels and Demons) mix of fact and fiction I expect you'll like this too. I've heard better stories but this is really good and the action just comes back to back. I do love that there are times in the story where the author could have added another action scene and the characters braced themselves but it passed as just a coincidence like so many experiences we have everyday.

Guilty pleasure

If I take this book as a pure work of fiction, it's a great read. The plot and twists and turns keep you on the edge. As a practicing muslim however, the line the story takes is... blasphemous. I imagine any practicing Christian or Jew may feel the same reading the book. So to enjoy it, you need to separate your religious persona, otherwise you might just want to burn it. Like I said, take it as a pure work of fiction and it's a good read.

A fun read.

Very Interesting take on religion and science. Sometimes hard to follow but well worth it.

Purely Fantastic from start to finish!

I listen to a lot of audio books, but this is one of the best books I've heard in a long time! Not only is it a gripping, superbly written page-turner, but it's well-researched and really makes you think about the bigger picture. The characters are relatable and well-developed and I couldn't stop listening!

The narration by Seth Andrews is top quality and really pulls you in. All in all, this is the best audiobook I've listened to all year!
