Horrible narration

Very good story. I would read and recommend the book...the audiobook though is a BIG NO 👎

Terrible naration

Narration was very robotic and words were mispronounced. There are also duplicate sentences and long pauses of no sound early in the recording. I listened only because I don't have time to read the book and enjoy the series and author.

Story was good but narration and edit were lacking.

While I enjoyed the backstory, the narration sounded mechanical and the editing was lacking where a few phrases were repeated and there are silent gaps in the narration.

Disappointing narration

While the story was good, the narration was very difficult to listen to. At first, I thought that the narrator was actually a synthesized voice or AI, but a synthesized voice of any kind nowadays is not this bad. For the most part, the narrator was droning on with hardly any inflection in his voice, and the different characters basically sounded the same. Just as annoying was that the 30 or 40 times that the word ‘Enceladus’ was spoken, it was completely miss-pronounced! Were all the editors at audible.com on vacation? Additionally, there were several sentences repeated by the narrator. There were a few gaps of silence the end of some chapters, and in one chapter, an unknown amount of content was cut off mid-phrase before moving to the next chapter. .. Is there no quality control at Audible? Very disappointed.

Narrator mispronunciations mar story

The narrator frequently mispronounces even common words, He also drones on without proper inflection. I expect there will be a reissue at some point with a better narrative. For now you’re better off with an AI voice; at least it will pronounce the words correctly.

Poor performance

The storyline for book 5 isn't too bad although it is not up to the first four books. The editing is really bad, there are a lot of sentences being repeated and large sections of several chapters in the beginning that are nothing but blank space. The performer is quite bad, he is very monotone and it is very obvious he is reading the story and not telling the story. I would be willing to listen to more books by this author but only if they are not read by this performer.

Narration is an epic fiasco!

Narration is so off the charts cringe, that it makes you believe it may possibly be a practice joke of some kind, played on audible.

Not worthy of Audible or Brandon Q. Morris.

I'm a big fan of Brandon Q. Morris and until this title, I've been happy with the narration of the books. I'm not sure who approved this for publication, but between the audio level being ridiculously low and the actual narration sounding like a text-to-speech program instead of a live person, I can only think that someone made a mistake and published the wrong file because this isn't worth what the list price is and really not even worth a penny.

Warning. Listen to the sample before u buy!

WORST NARRATION EVER.
I love the Ice Moon series and have been eagerly waiting for an English audiobook of The Jupiter Catastrophe for years. I was so excited when I hit play. Well, I lasted all of 7 minutes, and only because I really wanted to like this audiobook. Words cannot describe how terrible the narration is. Any comparison to any synthetic or robot voice is not justified. The first computer voice from Star Trek (tos) speaks with a wealth of emotion and expression this guy can't hold a candle to. If you want a more enjoyable audio experience than this Colindres Catastrophe, all you have to do is pick up your phone and dial a number that is out of service.

Who is reading this???

The narrator sounds like a synthetic reading machine. No emotion or inflection. I cannot really comment on the quality of the story because it’s so difficult to listen to the narrator.
