The Jump is a podcast from Virgin StartUp, sharing the untold stories behind some of the UK’s most exciting startups.

Launching a travel business just before the world shuts down. Turning a kitchen table blog into a multi-million-pound brand. Starting something inspired by your daughter - and ending up with Beyoncé as a client.

These are the moments that change everything. The risks taken. The pivots made. The leap into the unknown.

Hosted by Ben Keene, The Jump goes beyond the headlines to uncover what it really takes to build a business - the bold decisions, the setbacks, the breakthroughs and the belief that keeps founders going.

If you’ve ever thought about taking the leap, this is your inside track on what it truly looks like.

Emilie and Deepak were on holiday in Portugal, and noticed that the local markets had beautiful, fresh and mis-matched, wonky fruit and veg on offer. What started as a thought on supply chains and waste, turned into a business delivering fresh produce to people's doors in the dead of the night, which took off when the pandemic hit. Odd? Maybe. Brilliant? Definitely.
