We have this both as a book and an audiobook and I highly recomend both. The audio version is beatifully read and absolutely striking. It is read so well that you don't even miss the illustrations (which in the paper version are utterly delighttful too).

What did you love best about The Jesus Storybook Bible?

My son has listened to this NUMEROUS times. In fact, he has memorized several of the stories word-for-word. I am so grateful for this book. It is a definite must-buy for anyone that wants their children to learn good theology at a young age.

Great overview of the Bible

Loved it! David Suchet’s narration was superb. He draws you in and makes it come alive. Sally Lloyd-Jones did such a beautiful overview in story form, enhancing what was probably felt and experienced at the time. It brings the Bible to life in a way understandable for children as well as adults. The way she explained the connections, how it all points to Jesus was excellent. I highly recommend it to young and old alike!

A must for ages 0-99

Even as an adult, I found such a new and beautiful perspective of WHO Jesus is in HIStory, as well as in MY story. I wish I had known about this when my children were younger, but even as adults, I've gifted them all a copy and hope it blesses them like it has me.
