The interview
The actual story was good. What I would expect from Lucia Jordan. I wish she would pick a different narrator. Sherry Gainer has read a few of the stories I’ve listened to by this author and she is a terrible. It sounds as if she is reading in a can. The hollowness of the background noise is extremely annoying. My guess is the studio they use to record the books is terrible. If you can get past that, the narrators reading is sub-par at best. It basically sounds like she is just reading the text. I know that’s the narrators job, but it’s just that …. Reading….. the …. Text. There is no emotion, no change of tone, no change in “voice” to reflect the characters. I may be spoiled listening to awesome narrators like Erin Mallon, Andi Arndt, Savanna Peachwood, Ava Erickson, etc. on another note, the book(s) would be massively better if there was dual narration. There are a few female narrators that do a good/decent job with voicing male voices (see list above); but I do prefer dual narration books

The Best
I have been listening Lucia Jordan's books for quite sometime and this was one of my favorites. There's something very 50 Shades about this book but better. I love how she describes each and every situation with such passion and hunger. I cant wait to listen to the rest of this series.
