Not my favorite

Not my favorite. Very hard to listen to the main character. She was very ignorant.

Great book to read or listen to

I was hooked. Listened to this book throughout the day. Every chance I had, I listened to another chapter. Before I knew it, I finished the entire book in a day. The anticipation of each chapter was intense causing me to want to know more. Very enjoyable!

Entertaining

This was the first book I read by Frieda. Everyone gushes about her in all the book groups I'm in, so I decided to give her a try. The storyline was captivating, the writing was alright, and the narration was good but very slow. I ended up speeding it up to 1.60x to stay engaged.

I'm willing to read more books by this author, but so far, would not classify her as one of my favorites.

Great plot, annoying main character

I love a good plot twist and this book delivered that. I especially love the last few sentences, it’s a great closing. Main character could be frustratingly aloof and made the worst decisions. Still loved the story.

Narration

Didn’t enjoy the narrator and some of the intonation she used. The story took a minute to get going
