Another good Think Tank Triller

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I read the The Calypso Directive a few years back and saw that the author is making a series of the Think Tank. I loved the first book, especially the companian novella Ring of Flowers. The Infiltration Game doesn't disappoint. Most of the Think Tank crew is here for another intriguing thriller. This time rather than dealing with a deadly virus, the team is working to stop a nefarious Chinese corporation trying to embed its spy technology into US military hardware. Seeing what has unfolded over the last few years with multinational Chinese companies buying US companies, government sponsored hacking and actual Chinese CPUs with embedded spyware; this novel is spot on and puts context around what must be happening out in the real world everyday. The author does a great job coming up with clever and realistic ways for the Think Tank to hack into and get hacked by others. Most thrillers gloss over the hacking but this one is very plausible; a la Mr Robot (another favorite).

Can't wait to read the next book in the series. Let's hope there is one...

Who was your favorite character and why?

Albane Mesnil because her beauty is gravity. And she is a badass. :)

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

Narrator was ok.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes very fast paced.

Any additional comments?

Let’s hope for another.

Narrator has room for improvement

The story starts very interesting but is sometimes pretty lengthy. But was bothered me most is the
ridiculous attempt of the narrator to imitate the voice of a women.

Narration sorely lacking

The book itself was fine, and could have been a good listen, but for the narrator. Even the best narrators (Ray Porter, George Guidall, and Scott Brick) make the very occasional error, For this recording accents and voices were mediocre to strangled. There was little correction either by the narrator or at the behest of the director for mis-pronounced words (e.g. albeit pronounced "allbite") and mis-read text. This consistently disturbed the flow. Disappointing.

Love the story didn’t care for the narrator’s voices

Great story. Fast paced and extremely interesting with lots of suspense. Definitely not plausible but it was fun to listen to. The only thing I didn’t like was the narrator’s female and Chinese voices. I wish audible had used multiple people for this.

Just okay

Characters were interesting but story line was boring for my personal interest. Some seems were way too long and dragged on which could have been shortened.
