Packed with insight

I actually have the hard copy of this book and after discovering that it is now available through Audible, I wanted to listen to the author tell her story. I appreciate the humor when she used children fables to describe a very complex subject. I actually experienced infidelity in two of my relationships. The first time it was I who was cheated on; the second time I was the cheater. It is impossible for me to forgive myself even after my ex said he had forgiven me. He had recognized his part in the failure of our marriage. But this is a deep scar in which I definitely learned a life-long lesson. I encourage everyone to listen to Ms. Lopez's words whether or not you have cheated or have been the victim. There is a calmness in the narrator's voice that encourages us to look at ourselves and at our relationships. I am now in a committed relationship wherein we both have learned to communicate with each other by consistently addressing any issue and listening to one another. This is one of the self-help books in my library that I will reach for again.
