Publisher's Summary

In the middle of the night, two young infants start screaming in their bedroom as the temperature drops, the baby mobiles spin wildly and the room is filled with an aura of fear, panic and dread....

Jack Nightingale is called to investigate these spooky goings on in the house of occult-metal rock star Jimmy Deadman and his health-crazed supermodel wife, Mary Madison. To try to work out what’s going on and save the poor children from the haunting, he must delve into the history of the town and the house itself and discover the meaning of two mysterious occultist lockets gifted to the babies on the day of their baptism.

Another Jack Nightingale outing.

Not as strong as other stories in this series but good enough to keep me listening. Couldn't quite believe some of JN's naivety about certain historical details. Paul Thornley's narration excellent as ever.

Great listen as always

There is no big surprise's the book is what it appears to be, a ghost story in a house.
But, the characters are good, and it was easy to visualise the place and people whilst listening.
Worth a purchase or credit.

Old crimes come to light

This is a more of a ghostly crime thriller than the usual Nightingale, it has ghostly goings on, an old frenemy is called upon for assistance, and the reason for the haunting is a real tear jerker so all in all, a jolly good listen.
