Publisher's Summary

Elizabeth Adler is a master at depicting lush scenery, gourmet food, and the joys of travel.

Here, she tells the story of Lamour Harrington, a recent widow. She's immersed herself in landscape architecture, but even creating beautiful outdoor rooms can't bring back her happiness. When she's faced with a devastating truth about the husband she adored, Lamour returns to the house on the Amalfi coast where she'd lived with her father during the happiest years of her childhood.

There, she finds dangerous secrets, breathtaking beauty, two mysterious and compelling men, and the courage to live life to the fullest.

Enjoyable - makes me want to visit Amalfi coast!

This was a fun, breezy listen - very enjoyable. I like how Adler describes places - the sights, sounds and and smells help you really envision it. And her characters are very believable. Romance and mystery team up to provide a good listening experience. I'll definitely try other audios by her and MacDuffie.

A great story for escaping…

I loved this story from the first word to the last. The author did a magnificent job of transporting me to Italy and with detailed, gorgeous descriptions, she showed me colors, fragrances, tastes and the beauty of nature in a place I’ve never been. The plot was intriguing, with interesting, thoughtful characters. And, as important as anything else, this was the perfect narrator to tell this story.

76 chapters

The story went on & on without a plot and sometimes repeating the same venue. The author could have speeded up the momentum and made the book more exciting ending it at 50 chapters.

Brought me back to Italy…

This story was quite interesting until the rather melodramatic final few chapters. Them it just became a typical sappy romance novel. But it was free so…
