"Hot Box" is a baseball drill that can be played with three or more players and two to four bases. Lydia dreams of getting away from small-town America but, until she can make that happen, she is prepared to do whatever it takes to continue to have her bills paid...on time. Good sex always does the trick.

Hotttt!!

What did you love best about The Hot Box?

I love Zane! I really liked the story itself. I was able to follow the transformation of the main character and the complications made it very interesting. I also enjoyed the humor!

What other book might you compare The Hot Box to and why?

No other book comes to mind that I have read so far.

What does Simi Howe and Krystal King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I liked the way they brought the characters to life.

Who was the most memorable character of The Hot Box and why?

Yoseph. I kept wondering why he was in his situation.

A must read (or listen)! I could not stop listening... I really enjoyed the book.

Struggling!

The storyline is too slow and the narrators voice is extremely annoying. Not what I expected

I am a Zane fan so getting into her books are not difficult.

Yes I have. They both do an excellent job of narrating...

If you could take any character from The Hot Box out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would take them all lol... They are each unique in their own right.

A different view

This book was interesting. It had some humor and sexual aspects but also touch on some serious points. I was able to see how things are viewed by those looking in and the reality of it all. Some time you have to hear it to see how we all could fit one or another character shoes.

great tale

story was easy to follow. enjoyed having two characters read from their prospectives.
enjoyed how Zane woved in social issues.

Voices

The book was good but readers voices are so important to really pull you into the book. These voices and animations were off.

Sizzling Hot

This one of those books you have to go back.... because you can't believe you heard what was just said. I've never been a Zane fan...but I am now. Loved it.

I love this book great narration....I am glad that both of the girls found happiness in the end...More Zane please...this is a very entertaining book

The characters were great . I haven't seen a Zane title that I didn't enjoy.
