Be sure to play along

If you don’t know, Ellery Queen mysteries are meant to be audience participation. Once Ellery says he knows the answer, there’s a pause. Come up with your own answer before hearing his. Just remember the answers reflect life in the mid 1900s and usually there is no trick involved.

Queen Mystery

I found this a wonderful reenactment of this Queen book. I was kept on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Just Plain Fun

Like “The Odd Man” and “The Three Students”, here’s another session with the Puzzle Club, a group that includes everyone from plutocrats to poets. I admit that I could have solved this one if I’d really thought about it, but I was having too much fun listening.

Good Short Listen

Another fine short story from the puzzle club, by mystery master Ellery Queen. If you have audible plus check these out they are a bunch of fun. Traber Burns does good with the narrating.
