This audiobook describes in detail the European murder of the Jews from 1933 to 1945. Every important factor was discussed and the tragedy was explained in depth.

Holocaust review of the extent of the problem in pre war Europe.

An outstanding audiobook

This book was so well researched and so clearly presented. Yet it was sad to learn how indifferent so many people were to what the Nazis were doing, and even how many collaborated. The narration by John Sackville was outstanding. It’s hard to see how a narrator could’ve done any better.

Important work hampered by performance

Truly an important piece of non fiction, however the narrator is a bit dull, which isn't a huge issue, but also tends to slur words together which makes me constantly rewinding in order to catch what was said.

The ongoing fascism

The parallel between Adolph Hitler, Vladimir Putin and the US president from 2016 to 2020 is absolute and terrifying.
