Entertaining way to learn!

History Chicks is entertaining, well researched, and just all around fun to listen to. I have two degrees in history but never once took a class about women in history. As I listen to each episode, I'm shocked by what I never learned. There's so much to know, understand, and appreciate.

I wasn’t into poetry but I am Now!

I would strongly recommend that anyone who thinks they might want to venture into poetry listen to this podcast because it really turned me around in terms of poetry. I loved hearing the history of Emily Dickinson and comments and backstory and of course all the suggestions for books afterwards and the links it was just really, really interesting. Like I said I didn’t like poetry but I’m becoming a fan who’s intrigued and I’m going to research more of it because of this podcast. Thank you.
