Publisher's Summary

A courageous Highlander falls for a strong-willed lass on the treacherous high seas in this action-packed Scottish romance.

After a vicious attack on his ship, Sir Kennan Cameron washes ashore on a deserted Scottish island, nearly dead. But he soon finds he's not as alone as he thought. Kennan knows he can't stay on the island, but neither can he leave the brave and bonny lass who has nursed him back to health - even if she is from a rival clan.

Abandoned by her family, Divana Campbell is both terrified and relieved when a rugged Highlander drags himself from the surf. Trusting Kennan is her only chance for survival - and by the time they arrive at his castle, she can barely imagine life without him. But as the heir to a powerful chieftain, Kennan could never marry the likes of her.

Together, they'll brave tempests, pirates, betrayal, and ruin. But soon Kennan must decide what matters most: his thirst for vengeance or the woman who's won his heart.

Best one in the Series

This was so good, it was the tv show black sails meets pirates of the Caribbean, meets outlander. I loved that in the beginning they both new it wouldn’t work. I love that Davena fought for him . She never gave up because she new he wanted her. I’m from the Bahamas and Mr Gillis Mastered the accent.

Amazing

Another amazing story. This is the 7th and newest book of Lord's of the Highlands serious. I listened to the other 6 books twice and enjoyed every minute of them again as much as I did the first time round. I finished this 7th book in a day I just couldn't stop listening. Wherever I was and I could listen I did. I enjoyed it soooooo much. Can't wait for the next one which will be out in October, Emma Grant's and Cier's story. The narrator was brilliant also. I'll definitely listen to this book again just before the other one comes out., I enjoyed it so much. I hope there will be more after Emma and Cier's story.

Great series

The is such a good series. Dave Gillies does a fantastic job of bringing the book to life. One of her best stories. I only wish Dave could have narrated the first three books of the series. However, I am reading the kindle versions instead. It just doesn’t sound right having the books narrated by a woman. Dave does a wonderful job of giving each character their own distinct voice and does a great job for the female voices too. Looking forward to book 8 later in the year.
