This book was okay

I liked the story until the last few chapters. I liked the interaction of the hero and heroine in the beginning, but towards the end of the book the story started to drag and almost became ridiculous. I found myself just wanting to skip to the end just to get it over with. It was disappointing, because the story started out so well.

Loved it

I love how wholesome the story is. This is by far the best retelling of Sleeping Beauty and I love love love that it's a Christian retelling of Sleeping Beauty.
The narrator did her job well... A+

I loved how they were faith based and I don't have anything that I didn't like loved the book

Had potential...with a different narrator

I read this book, and all the books in the series, and I loved them all; I have loved reading each and every one of Melanie Dickerson's books, in each series. However, I was very disappointed by the narrator. Her voice itself was okay in general, but she used almost no different voices or tones to differentiate between characters. Switching voices for each character is kind of the point of narration, in my opinion. Not to be mean or disrespectful to Jude Mason, but I wish they had maybe used someone like Cassandra Campbell or Julia Whelan, both of whom do an amazing job at giving each character a unique voice.

Loved

I loved this book. How Melanie brought the evil into the book but showed us how to rid him in Jesus name.

Christian fantasy

A very Christian take on fantasy without much depth. Predictable. I think you can figure out the whole story from the description.

Following the God's way,

What I really liked about this book is that Rose kept following the God's way when it was very tempting to give in the arrangement planned by a man (well, a very nice, wonderful man). It may be very difficult and easy to say but still, it is the best way to follow God's will when you really want something.

I love this story.

This is well written and well presented. It is very Christian themed. I like it.

horrible reading

it was hard to enjoy the story because the reader was monotone and you couldn't know who was talking when, the author or audible should test the readers I have had more books ruined by a bad reader than anything
