Publisher's summary

Amber ignored the tales of Gull's Nest, the sea-cliff house shrouded in dark history. When she realizes the legends are terrifyingly real, it's already too late.

Amber's world spiraled into the unknown when her brother, Jeremy, ignored all cautions and bought Gull's Nest, an eerie house perched on a sea cliff, notorious for its dark past. Jeremy's disturbing visions were hardly a shock, given his penchant for delving into the mystical, beyond mere earthly indulgences.

Amber's visit to Gull's Nest took a chilling turn when she was greeted not by her brother, but by the police, demanding she identify a body believed to be Jeremy's. Yet, in the shadowy pre-dawn hours, Jeremy reappeared, alive but altered, thrusting Amber into a terrifying reality where nothing made sense, and her sanity hung by a thread.

Determined to unravel the enigma of Gull's Nest, Amber enlists the aid of George, a seasoned historian. Together, they dig deep into the house's sinister secrets, only to confront an evil beyond their wildest imaginations. As they fight to survive, the malevolent force within Gull's Nest pursued its diabolical agenda with relentless fury.

Time is running out. Can Amber and George uncover the final, dreadful secret of Gull's Nest before it was too late? Or will they succumb to the same dark fate that had claimed so many before them within the haunted walls of Gull's Nest? If you read stories in the occult, occultism, horror, supernatural and paranormal genres then add Cat Knight to your reading list.

AI should not be allowed on Audible!!

This might have been a good book but the AI narration is so horrible that I just can’t finish listening to it. The narration is so horrific that I couldn’t focus on the story at all. It’s like nails on a chalkboard. AI narration should not be allowed on the Audible site period. If they don’t want to invest in a human narrator then for goodness sake’s don’t waste our time and money. Audible is already not allowing returns as advertised so darn it, get rid of AI! This author will suffer from a horrible review because of this. I will not give a 5 star rating or review to ANY & ALL AI narration generated books. Period! Rant over. Moving on to a real audible book with a real narrator like Ray Porter or Kevin Pierce; both are at the top of many people’s lists for favorite narrator for a reason.

Story was Good.. Virtual Voice AWFUL.!!

While I quite liked the story itself,.. your virtual voice RUINED it for me.. stop it at once.. I would much rather pay for a book and have an actual flesh and blood narrator at the helm.
