Weird American political jabs

As an American it's extremely off-putting when a British author inserts weird jabs regarding American politics. "Like a daily dose of Trump news, I didn't want to hear it."
What? Stop believing the spoon-fed rhetoric MSM tells you.
Other than that, the story was OK.
wouldn't rated higher if not for political stuff.
