A withered, shriveled, severed human hand is kept chained in a corner. The "owner" of this morbid trophy always keeps three loaded revolvers in the same room. Nothing seems too suspicious until the hand is mysteriously reclaimed.

This is not at all a bad short story, but it was a bit predictable. The narration is excellent but this is a rather simple scary story with little else going for it. If you are in the mood for a short campfire story this is not worth a credit, but at $0.58 it was worth the listen.

Just a scary story

the hand is a short story, which delves not into the supernatural as per its words itself but instead to the imaginative and inexplicable. it is is a chilling tale a mystery and as per usual BJ Harrison does a fantastic job in communicating both the facts of the story as well as portraying the narration with the drama and characteristics of the people and activities included within

chilling mystery by a great narrator
