Vietnam Vet Struggles with Handicap
This novel has a powerful voice that takes us through many human emotions: the solitude of coming home, the joy of loving a child, the pain of losing one's first true love, jealousy and anger when she leaves for another love, the madness and frustration of being mute and unable to communicate and finally the serenity of accepting the blessings of others.
