Easy listen

I enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator did a great job giving each character a unique voice, making it easy to follow. I received a free review copy and voluntarily reviewed.

The narrator did a good job on most of the voices but some of the male voices needed work.

This isn't my typical genre but I though thought the cover of this one was hot so I wanted to give it a chance and I'm glad I did. Unique characters and interesting story - I really enjoyed this one. Great narration. I can't wait to check out book 2

Easy listen, with an interesting story line!

I enjoyed this book - had it down within a day. I liked the characters, but they could have had a bit more depth to them. The book could have had more depth and detail, but it was a good easy read with an intriguing story line. I'm interested to see where the next book goes!

The narration was well done. The characters each had distinct voices that were nice to listen to. The tone of voice was a bit rise and fall that was a bit distracting but once you get use to it you no longer notice it. I would suggest you listen to the sample prior to buying to see if you mind it.

I would suggest this book if you are looking for a easy listen, with an interesting story line!

Shifter Romance

This book is a shifter romance while I typically listen to Contemporary Romance, so its outside my preferred genre. I wanted to try something new and this book is performed by a narrator who does awesome with various characters and accents. I enjoy how Meghan Kelly is able to do both female and male voices. To me it is important to be able to distinguish the various characters voices. This was my first werewolf shifter romance that I have listened to. I think the story moved around too fast for my likes. How the main character went from hate to love was lightening fast. I did like some of the unexpected twists this book had. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was provided with this review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily written this review.

My favorite genre

I'm a paranormal romance freak! I was given this audiobook free for an honest review. I liked the story line, and wished it was longer. It was a bit rushed, and needed more time to expand the details and the characters. I'll still be listening to it again though.

I like the storyline of this book. Because it was short it didn't fully delve into the background of the characters but gave enough to make the ending clear. Meghan Kelly isn't my favorite narrator however I really like her in this one. I don't know why but her voices worked for this cast of characters. Good stuff...

More twists than a mountain road

I wasn't really sure I was going to like this after the first chapter but I was so wrong! The portrayal of werewolfs in this book was interesting and unique, the characters are well developed and easy to connect with. It didn't take much longer before I was hooked and I'm looking forward to reading more books in this series.

Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen, something completely different occurred, I loved the surprises.

I liked the narration, the character voices were well done although sometimes the male voices were too similar. Overall it was smooth and natural, and I really enjoyed it.

Thin line between love and hate

Ava is a great strong female character with a huge growth in the story. I appreciate that she starts to question what side she has been fighting for. I also really like that she takes accountability for her past indiscretions and strives for the truth of why she did what she did. I enjoyed the final meeting at the end with Ava's "parents" and she gets the justice she well deserves.

Great listen

Fantastic story with a great narrator! Plenty of action from the start and a good dose of steam. Highly recommend giving this one a listen. I received a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.
