This week tensions were high between the Angels and Mariners as Jesse Winker tried to fight the entire team after getting drilled by a pitch. 2013 first round pick Mark Appel made his MLB debut this week and the baseball world rejoiced. Pirates rookie Oneil Cruz has been insane so far and he is only getting better. Plus, some very interesting news on Freddie Freeman and his contract talks with Atlanta.

This week in baseball we had our first manager firings of the year. Joe Maddon and Joe Girardi both got canned this week after both their teams went through some bad stretches. The Angels lost 14 in a row and the Phillies have been flat out uncompetitive and needed a shake up. Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani have been ice cold during that stretch but you know who hasn't been? Marcus Semien. He's back in a BIG way after struggling to start the season. Plus, the Dodgers pretty much discovered a position player pitching rule. Wild. Lets go.
