Pschychopathy Revealed
Historical facts blended intriguingly into a compelling story which mimics the criminal mind of the psychopath.

Gory Tale of Italian Soap-Maker of Correggio
This is perhaps the most gruesome, yet fascinating of the Masters of Crime Series so far. Women serial killers are rare, and one so disturbed as Leonarda Cianciulli, is nearly unheard of. She was born April 18, 1893 in southern Italy, attempting suicide twice as a young girl. She married a registry office clerk, to the despair of her mother, who had wanted her to marry a rich man. During her marriage, Leonarda was pregnant seventeen times, but she had three miscarriages and ten more of her children died in their youth. She closely guarded the remaining four children, sure they too might die. She had dabbled in the occult and visited a fortune teller that had told her she would marry, have children, but they would die young. The fortune teller also told her that she saw prison and a criminal asylum in her future. As Italy began preparations to enter WWII, her eldest son, Giuseppe told her of his plans to join the army. This accelerated Leonarda's fear and she began preparations to make a human sacrifice in order to protect Giuseppe. Strangely enough, she had become a well known and respected woman in her small community, making and selling homemade soap. Her neighbors often visited her and trusted her. And this is where she found her victims. Well planned out and orchestrated, she eventually killed three older women who were friends and neighbors before being discovered. She gruesomely cut them up, used their blood to make flour and fed them to her friends. She used their fat to make soap. This listen is well worth the time and will peak your interest in this insane and sick woman.
