Immigration- reviewing the past- hopefully learning lessons for today.

I think the narration was terrific and the story was interesting. In-depth and I learned much about individual nations use of immigration to tailor their populations along nationalistic lines.. Occasionally, some repetition. And I’m not sure everybody will be interested in the depth of the information presented.
With the current controversies about immigration, this book is very timely.

Well written with some complaints

This book is overall well-written and informative, but the author bothered me at some points with how they addressed certain issues. I felt like they really glossed over the genocide in the Balkans, for example.

Well researched and very readable (listenable)

This is a very good piece of History scholarship packaged in a deceptively approachable veneer. Definitely recommend it.
