Can't go wrong with Laurann Donner

I love all of Laurann Donner books. She is my go-to author. This book is no exception. I wish she used her previous narrators because they let you feel like you're in the story. You get lost in the world she builds, with the characters and their lives , so well that you forget that it's story. With this narrator, I struggled to lose myself in the story. I was always trying to figure out which character was speaking because they all sounded so similar and some times robotic or monotonal. It really detracted from the story, which is a shame. Still, the book was great.

Tears & smiles

Get ready to cry, worry and smile with this wonderful story with a happy ending. Can’t wait to listen to next story. I wish Laurann had all her books in audible format!

I have read this entire series and absolutely love them! I have been waiting for them to come out on audio. I honestly wish that there were more books in the series. The narrator does a great job. And as always I love how Laurann Dohner delivers the story. Would love it if she would write a few more in the series.

Great Start

Great start to a new series! I’m excited about these new alien shifters and their mating practices. I liked how Brassel was right there to save our heroine so many times. Enjoyed the narration as well. I’ll be looking for the next audio book.

looking forward to the rest of the series

Great start to the series but be forewarned, the rest of the series isn't available on audible so no binge listening. Thankfully this is a complete story, not a cliffhanger, I assume the next will be another couple's story. Great listen.

New series

Could not stop listening try to this audio book. I can't wait for the next book

Wrong names distracting

The narrator read two character names incorrectly and was distracting. The characters Brassi and Vassi have an i at the end of their names and the narrator turned it into an L. Maybe not jarring if you haven’t read the ebook as many times as I have.

Second Listen

I love Laurann Dohner’s books. I was apparently too lazy to post a review the first time I listened, so this time I have to say it’s worth a credit. It has man eating aliens, a misogynistic commanding officer, aliens who can kill the man eating aliens, and a heroine who just happens to have the knowledge to protect some of the people. Stir this all together in Laurann’s brain and you end up with a story that you can’t stop reading or listening to.

Great Book!!!

Loved it. I can't wait for the next audible book. I have to say I love all her books.
