Long Goon, like a turkey through the corn

Milligan's special genius, coupled with that of Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe. The comedy mania that paved the way for Monty Python, and influenced a generation, to their lasting detriment. Experience it for yourself, through the magic of mp3. You won't regret it, though your family and friends will.

Still gloriously funny.

Unless you are "of a certain age" (sadly I am!) it is undeniably true that parts of these shows seem dated. Even I find the musical interludes too much and fast forward through them. If you ignore these minor quirks you will be rewarded with some truly glorious, anarchic comedy. True comic geniuses at work and an absolute joy to listen to.

Hilarious but sound levels need work.

The Goons are classic comedy - this comes from an old BBC recording and the sound effects and musical interludes come in a lot louder than the voices.
