Publisher's summary

Imagine a man who is a cross between a typical Southern Baptist minister and a typical Louis L'amour hero, and you'll probably arrive at a fair approximation of Eli Helmsman, the protagonist in this gritty, theologically infused western. Eli never went looking for violence - but he was bold to speak the truth as he saw it. Sometimes, violent men went looking for him...and more often than not, they ended up in boot hill.

Worth a listen

+The author did a decent job on the character voices.
+The story is fairly original, and the concept was refreshingly non cliched.
+The ending wasn't predictable. I wish I could mention more but it would spoil it if I mentioned anything more.

did Louis L'Amour write this?

great story, like Louis L'Amour or Zane Grey but with a Christian twist, read by the author who has a excellent baritone voice, I would listen to him read other books as well. spoiler alert, I teared up at the end and cowboys don't cry.
