very amateur reading; total killer of interest

story is interesting; the reading is like grandma reading little red riding hood level; sleep inducing

Great Historical Novel

The story was very compelling. The fact that it was a true story made it even more interesting and an absolute page-turner. It taught much about early middle age European history. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in a good historical novel that is also extremely educational. The narrator does a masterful job of conveying the emotions of all the characters and listening to it added greatly to the enjoyment of the book!
