Who was your favorite character and why?

The Girl in 6E, of course. She's crazy/sexy/smart/beautiful and can handle a knife. Why else wouldn't I love her?

Her voice was perfectly fitting and wonderful to listen to throughout.

Why did I wait so long?

Wow, this audio was by far way better than I expected. The book was great but the narrator did such a fantastic job that I fell in love with the neurotic psychopath that is the main character. This story was told with such emotion that I did not want to turn it off and prolong doing so as long as possible. The story flows flawlessly and I can't wait to hear the second installment. The perfect combination of crazy, sex, and heart gripping emotion. A page turner and a must listen.

Interesting in an OCD kind of way...

Murder, pedophilia and cybersex from the eyes of 1 girl. I have never listened to anything like this before and it was good, the narrator was good too...neither was great.

It's OK

It is a good explanation of "the life" this girl has decided to live, and the people she deals with.

The rescue portion of the book was just too unreal and simple.

Very Graphic and Only Mildly Interesting

This book has very graphic sex scenes. It does not offend me but I think those scenes should at least drive the story. The sex scenes did not so they were just gratuitous sex scenes. The main character also thinks she is a murderer but keeps herself isolated so she does not actually kill anyone. She lives like this for years and there are some events that convince her that she must leave her apartment. She fulfills her self-imposed obligation without mass murder and seems to be cured by the end. It just is not a believeable story and the characters are superficial and predictable. It is not a bad book but it is not a great book either. Worth your time if you like “Girl” books.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat and i did not want to stop listening to it.

A perfect combination of thriller and erotic. Multiple climaxes ;) but great story. About to start the second book.

Fascinating Listen

I was hooked on this story so quickly. How does a person manage to live in today's world and never leave the confines of her home? Deanna Madden manages to do so, until she feels so strongly that she must venture out that she (rather gleefully) risks the lives of anyone who comes into contact with her. While this is basically erotica, the story is strong and not buried beneath the sex scenes. Jorjeana Marie, as usual, is spot on with the narration.

great listen. I listen to books at work and I work nightshift so this really kept me awake and wanting to know what will happen next. I'm glad that this is a series and will be listening to the books very soon. The characterization was very clear and they all had their own personality even the flat characters. I'm really excited to hear more about her life and the people she comes across and what she finally decides to do with them.

Interestingly Surprised

I almost didn't keep reading this book after the opening because I am definitely not a noir, or explicit sex, genre reader, but I am so glad I did. At first I was turned off and then, I became totally wrapped up and taken in by the great mystery portion of this story. I found myself wanting to get back to this intriguing character and her dark idiosyncrasies.

An intelligent, interesting, beautiful woman who has millions has locked herself up in a not so nice apartment. But Why? The unfolding of this story kept me captivated and I found myself telling her story to those around me as well. I did come away with more knoledge of sex online and would definitely recommend earbuds. I will be looking for the next in this series because of the fantastic writing and Jorjeana Marie's excellent narration.
