Meh, not that great of a story

I was expecting more from this book based on the description but it really wasn't all that great. The narrator's voice was annoying, she sounded way too old for the young character and her male and younger female impersonations of other characters were really bad. It made listening very unenjoyable. The story itself was ok, the author used real anti-nazi resistance groups that were in Germany at the time to give the story credibility but they weren't even necessary. It almost felt like the author was trying too hard. Also, I wasn't too crazy with how it basically just ended. I mean, sure, you get what's going to happen but it was lazy on the author's part. I wouldn't recommend this book and I should've returned it early on like I wanted to but decided to stick it out. I don't even know if it's worth the 3 stars I gave it.

Not very engaging to me

My favorite genre is ww2 historical fiction. This books just seemed kinda shallow. Not very good character development I Hardly even knew the date most of the time. Timeline very important in war Too many loose ends. Suddenly it was the end. Not a lot of action and not much information given either. I may or may not try this Author again
