True love

This is a seven book series and I’m genuinely upset there’s not more books. I finished each one within a few days, I haven’t watched tv in WEEKS. I haven’t loved a series as much as this in a long time, the character development after the first book is wonderful. Also Jason Clarke has an incredibly sexy voice. That is all.

Is it over yet?

Until now, I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. This book changed that for me. We have officially gotten to the point where it feels like the author or publishers just want you to keep spending money and buying another book. I am not sure I even plan to finish and there is only one book left. Hopefully it will bring this story full circle and not drag like this one did.

Unique look at dystopian society

Even though it may seem like just another dystopian series, the Gender Game series adds a bonus problem. The differences between women and men. Just like Hunger Games deals with classification of people and race and Divergent deals with societies expectations and tries to pigeon hole us into specific roles... Gender Plan takes a look at what's already a problem in the real world and takes it to the extreme. All are reminders of how bad it could be if we don't fight for equality and treat everyone better regardless of gender race, religion, or orientation. It's nice that it was a 7 book series too and not just 3 or 4.

Slow.....

The first two books were good, but the subsequent books have become boring. I feel that some of the battle scenes are a bit too descriptive and drawn out. Books 3-6 could have easily been condensed down in to one or two books and not lost any of the story.

My least favorite of the series

Well, aside from the always remarkable performance of the two talented narrators (they would be able to turn the reading of the grocery list into something interesting) I have to agree with other reviewers about the almost unbearable dragging of the plot in this 6th books of the series. Too much characters to deal with and put into the story with no clear meaning... the lack of sexual tension between the two MCs was so unrealistic given the difficult circumstances they were living in and their young age...really?! Naturally, I'll be waiting for the last book in the series and the last audible version, but this one wasn't so good in my personal books' scale.

Really enjoying this series!

I have enjoyed all six books of this series and about to download book number 7. The writing is very descriptive which helps me to visualize the story. There's action and love .... an overall good read for many different age groups.

Too much and not enough...

So, this is book 6 and I'm glad there's just one more. I enjoyed the overall story arch, the plot is unique and it kept me coming back despite some shortfalls and too convenient plot at a times. But this book, #6 fell short of the other ones. The entire second half was boring with too many drawn out battle scenes, too much telling and no show.
And it felt like some characters like Desmond are being kept around only for drama.
The narrator did an excellent job.

Violets character is annoying at this point

other lesser characters are more enjoyable than her over detailed self destructive personality and thoughts ...started to get bad at around book 4....by book 5 she is already more annoying and I have found myself skipping over her chapters. at this point, I'm just committed to the story and other characters to stop.
