Publisher's summary

Welcome to Nocturne Falls, the town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year. The tourists think it's all a show: the vampires, the werewolves, the witches, the occasional gargoyle flying through the sky. But the supernaturals populating the town know better.

Living in Nocturne Falls means being yourself. Fangs, fur, and all.

Willa Iscove, fae jeweler, has her first stalker. Really, he's just one of her lovesick customers. The ring she crafted to help him find new love has backfired, making Willa the object of his affections. In a bid to rid herself of her amorous client, Willa makes a wish in the Nocturne Falls fountain using the piece of opal in her pocket and in doing so, unknowingly conscripts as her guardian the sexy gargoyle on duty.

Former Army Ranger and gargoyle Nick Hardwin has some serious suspicions about the pretty fae who just invoked the ancient pact for protection. Her kind have been at odds with his kind for ages. Now she wants his help? He's determined to figure out what she's up to. Which won't be a hardship considering how much fun she is to be around. And kiss.

But then her stalker turns out to be the tip of the iceberg and things go really wrong, really fast. When they're both kidnapped, Willa is forced to make a hard decision. The life of her family or the freedom of the man she's fallen for?

Tired of listening to stories about humans? Consider the werewolf! Taking various forms over the course of centuries and mythologies, often as flesh-devourers, werewolves now commonly appear in fantasy and romance novels as shape-shifters. The shape-shifting element in werewolves' stories has almost humanized them, depicting the internal struggles we all face within ourselves, on some level or another.

The Gargoyle can get THIS girl anytime!

Any additional comments?

The Gargoyle Gets His Girl is the third installment of the Nocturne Falls Series by Kristen Painter. It's the fourth book I've listened to, narrated by BJ Harrison, and they only get better!

No matter the character speaking or thinking in the moment, BJ is able to find a new and fresh voice for them. I'm not sure how he does it, but as long as he keeps it up, I'll keep listening.

Needless to say, I love Kristen's story as well. Can't wait for the next installment!

I love Nocturne Falls!

I love all of Kristen Painter’s books, but I love the Nocturne Falls series the most. They’re fun, lighthearted, and we see many of the same places and people throughout the series, which is fun.
B.J. Harrison is a great narrator.
I like how the jobs of many of the townspeople is being “on duty” as themselves for the tourists. Our hero here is on duty as a fountain gargoyle and hears a wish being made. It brings the hero and heroine together, and sparks fly.
I highly recommend these books!

Great Book!

Any additional comments?

This is a great book; this is the third book in the Nocturne Falls Series written by Kristen Painter and narrated by B.J. Harrison. Nocturne Falls is a small town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year, which makes it easy for the supernatural people who live there to not hide who they are. This book can be read as a standalone, but once you read this one then you will want to go back and read them all. Willa Iscove is a fae jeweler; she believes that the ring she crafted for a customer has now turned him into her stalker. Nick Hardwin is a gargoyle and former Army Ranger who has recently moved to Nocturne Falls because he wants to settle down and have a home. His kind has always been against the fae because they have the power to hold and control a gargoyle. When Willa makes a wish in the fountain that Nick is guarding then he has no choice to help her.

The narrator B.J. Harrison did a wonderful job, and was very easy to listen too. He did a great job with the different characters and their voices.

If you are looking for a great romance, then you need to read this book. I can’t wait to read the next book by this author. Once I started listening to this book, I didn’t want to stop until the end.

A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Another great book out of the series

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

usually in some books when they make a series the story is boring. This is not the case in this series so far. I love books that make me laugh and has a good love story and a little drama at the same time. This is that type of book.

What did you like best about this story?

The middle part on is the best but i wont tell you what will happen because its better to find out for yourself.

Any additional comments?

The part the makes the audiobooks the best is not only the storyline but the narrator. this narrator does the book justice.
