After an illicit liaison with his mistress, the owner of a private sanitation company in New York is murdered. His wife, aware of the affair, first believes it could be the motivation for the killing. But when her garbage truck drivers are attacked by her husbands “associates”, the district attorney assigns Detective Frank Miranda to infiltrate the organized crime family running the garbage cartel. Family values are questioned...temptation and loneliness create unfortunate bedfellows.

This is not a typical “mob murder mystery” story...instead, it has great moments of comedy, with colorful stories about him driving a 30-ton garbage truck with no experience, and how he hits almost everything in sight aside from a human being! Yet, it simultaneously takes you into the inner world of an “infiltrator” and the personal decisions and sacrifices he made daily. It delves into the toll taken on the loved ones around him; his wife, his family, and his friends.
