The end of Terabithia
Any additional comments?
When I read Bridge to Terabithia as a child, it was the first time I'd encountered some of the feelings I found in there and I become obsessed. I was almost offended when I found out it was famous. The book felt so personal. I wasn't sure how I felt about sharing it.
Although The Funeral doesn't technically claim any relationship to Bridge to Terabithia, it is obviously this author's loving epilogue to that classic. The Funeral is the devastatingly sad ending about a child's first loss. Guilt and grieving too big for a kid and as incomprehensible as it is relatable and inevitable.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

A heartfelt story of endurance and the ability to appreciate the little things in life
The Funeral is a touching short-story about loss and acceptance. The protagonist is a child who recently lost his best friend in a tragic accident. The narrator Tom Jordan did a really great job, carrying the listener into this heartfelt story of endurance and the ability to appreciate the little things in life.
