Up my alley....
I thought this book was wonderful. Loved the history. I like to follow the lives of others way back when and listen to the twists, turns, and secrets. Was different listening to the time periods go back and forth, but I got used to it. Nice narration too. Great job writing this one ladies!

A great love story
I enjoyed this so much! The story spanned 3 generations and the skillful way the narrative switched back and forth among them kept me riveted, wanting to know how it would turn out for each of them.

A bit above average
So, I see that I am in the minority here .... I didn't find anything particularly special about this book, other than that it toggles back and forth between generations. The point of the book seems to be in the parallels between the time periods, however it was for that reason that i grew somewhat bored after a time. Still, a good listen, since the characters all well drawn.

Three Generations of Love Stories with a Mystery
At the beginning I didn't get the connections, therefore the mystery. There was a plot that unfolded easily while learning the history of each woman. It was thoroughly enjoyable. Narration was good except for one who was relatively too loud but tolerable.
