Ok storyline, starts slow and gets better as you read more. Give some what of a Lord of the Rings vibe. A good listen if you are exploring something new and different from the typical read.

The Forgotten Five slipped past my defenses with its structure: five tight acts, each ending on a cliffhanger that screams “end of session.” Clean, clever, and criminally re-readable. Five stars, no notes.

Brutally Honest About the Cost of Wishing

I’m a mom who sneaks fantasy reads after the kids crash—usually something fluffy to unwind. The Forgotten Five looked short enough for one sitting, but it gut-punched me in the best way. My first foray into this genre, and it was extremely entertaining! Loved that the characters met and overcame the challenges by thinking things through and working it out. Will be looking for more of this author’s work!!

Original idea and execution

I don't listen to as many audiobooks as I read ebooks, but this one caught my attention because there is singing involved. This was a fun, quick story that felt very much like I was listening to an RPG. The story, story telling and characters felt dynamic. It was definitely a positive experience. I'll look for more stories from this author.
