Captivating ghost story

Buying houses, renovating and re-selling is a common practice today, but when Julie and Brad buy a dilapidated historic home to flip, they get much more than they bargained for. This is an interesting and unusual ghost story, that in many ways is a story about the perseverance of love. It has some really creepy parts, some sad parts but also some tender, touching parts. The author managed to create scary without the blood, guts or gore and combines the past with the present in this story very well. Cash created characters you can relate to, and the personalities and the back story of the ghosts,Tessa and Gerald, is really captivating. The narrator of the audiobook does an excellent job on both the male and female voices, the different accents and inflections he uses bring the characters and story to life. This is a well written, enjoyable story containing twists, creepy tension and great characters. I received the audiobook from the author in exchange for an honest review.
