The Flame Iris Temple continues the story which began with The Burning Tower, and continued in The Fire Sword. The Flame Iris Temple is a fantasy where a group of knights take up residence in a land quite different from their own. They must fight off shape-changing assassins, kidnappers, and other human enemies who are cunning and ruthless. The main hero, Sandun, has been transformed by a demi-god, and now he walks in both the world of the living and the second world. He has been given great power, as well as a nearly impossible task. He must go to the Flame Iris Temple and face the terrible dangers which await.
