Publisher's Summary

When 16-year-old Tess Kendrick is sent to live with her older sister, Ivy, she has no idea that the infamous Ivy Kendrick is Washington, DC's number-one "fixer" - known for making politicians' scandals go away for a price. No sooner does Tess enroll at Hardwicke Academy than she unwittingly follows in her sister's footsteps and becomes DC's premier high school fixer, solving problems for elite teens.

Secrets pile up as each sister lives a double life...until their worlds come crashing together, and Tess finds herself in the middle of a conspiracy with one of her classmates and a client of Ivy's. Suddenly there is much more on the line than good grades, money, or politics, and the price for this fix might be more than Tess is willing to pay.

Perfect for fans of Pretty Little Liars and Heist Society, listeners will be clamoring for more in this exciting new series.

Interesting book.

It is a very entertaining book. It would appeal to both teens and adults. I stayed up to listen to the last chapter - until 1 am.

intriguing

I'm really picky with thrillers, but I've read Barnes in the past and thought to give her other work a shot. loved the friendship and family dynamics of the story. lots of twists, some predictable, others very well done. glad I listened to this.

Amazing

I've read this book before and loved it. I wanted to see what the audiobook was all about. The acting was brilliant as was the reading. Every character had it's own voice and I sometimes questioned if someone was reading for different female characters. The tone was perfect. The story telling amazing. I have tried to make do stuff like this on my own. But I wish I could be a part of something so amazing. This audiobook was one of the best I've heard.

wow how impressive

The only thing I found missing was maybe the animal aspect. A pet or something softer would be the cherry on top.
It was a very twisted plot with so many hidden details. I don't usually enjoy politics nor do I care, this story got me emotionally invested. l wonder if the story will. continue. I look forward to more from Tess, Livy, Henry, Asher and their YA lives.
Ms.Barnes really can write a page turner.

Pretty Little Liars meets POLITICS!

This book was like Pretty Little Liars meets Politics! The perfect mix of mystery, DC culture and high school. I LOVED Cassandra's narration. She sounds exactly like a high schooler and authentically captured all of the teen characters. She was just expressive enough without being over-the-top. I hate when adults try to narrate teen books and come off as sounding fake. This wasn't one of those audiobooks. Highly recommend for other teens.

Silly cliche-ridden waste of time

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

The heading says it all. The characters were so cardboard.Their lines predictable and cliched. The narrator was terribly annoying. If this is what appeals to young adults, I worry for our future.

Voz demasiado joven

la voz de la narradora se escucha demasiado joven para los 16años del personaje, se escucha como que si tuviera 10 o 13 años. Los cambios de los diálogos a lo que Tess pensaba en algunas partes fue algo confuso.
