The First Sin: Weakness is a 94-k words Coming of Age, Cultivation Romantasy which follows a teenager's cultivation journey. There is a one-couple romance, but no harem or adult scenes. Hence, the novel is suitable for a general readership.

Worth listening to

Surprised this title only had one review. The book was surprisingly good. While it may not stand apart from other progression novels, it surely met the standard. I will likely buy the next one.

I imagine many have not listened to this book, probably because of the virtual voice narration. Sometimes those can be bad, but this one was alright. Only mechanical parts were spelling out ASAP, or laughing "ha-ha-ha". Other than that, it sat right with me.

As for the plot... Well, I suppose the reason he became a cultivator was moot. As for his purpose, it is unclear outside of ridding himself of his weakness. I say it like that to avoid spoiling his revenge story. I will say that if you are reading/listening to this book because you like revenge stories, this is not for you. At best, this is a slice of life. The majority of the book is just him progressing in his cultivation.
