Join Jeremy Bolm, vocalist of Touché Amoré and founder of the record label Secret Voice, for his latest project, The First Ever Podcast. This is an honest look at the humble beginnings of all kinds of different artists - from actors and musicians to poets and photographers. Through conversation, Jeremy explores how their first experiences with their art form lead them to where they are today. In today's world of instant gratification, it's important to be reminded that not everything happens fast and easy. To succeed as an artist, it often takes a lot of steps and wrong turns along the path. And uncovering the nuances of those creative journeys is what this show is all about. Arte Música

For me personally, the host, Jeremy Bolm, is one of my biggest experiences as a byproduct of being a long-time Touche Amore fan. Jeremy's lyrics have always resonated with me in very deep ways that have helped me navigate life in many ways, and I was further introduced to Jeremy through his appearances on 100 Words or Less with Ray Harkins (another phenomenal show, highly recommend s/o Ray and Joey from 131 Records), so it has been very cool for me as a Touche fan to get to be audience to Jeremy's perspective in multiple mediums, but even in a vacuum, trying my best to take bias out of it, Jeremy is a great personality and wonderful interviewer who, through the core of this podcast's intentions, really brings out the humanity in a lot of the folks he interviews in a way that separates the interview from that of a Stereogum or Pitchfork sitdown where the atmosphere as I can imagine is much more pretentious, this just feels so organic and is an incredible listen and has introduced me to many new artists, understand the music scene and industry better, and highlights the humanity of all those who I look up and am new to in the music that I so enjoy. Go support the Patreon, I left the Patreon because I am financially irresponsible (buying too many concert tickets), but go support the show there as well, it is well worth it and the community is incredible. Thanks for all your hard work, Jeremy.
