Publisher's Summary

In the beginning....

Three brothers - Gabriel, Michael, and Lucifer. Royalty. Archangels. United in devotion to their father and all his works.

But when Lucifer learns of their father’s latest creation - a new race, fashioned from crude matter and yet made in his image - he is consumed with resentment. Why have he and his angelic kind been overlooked?

After a bitter confrontation, Lucifer is cast out, doomed to an eternity of exile and punishment.

Unrepentant, he vows he won’t suffer alone. Mankind has made a powerful enemy - one determined to lure it into darkness and torment any way he can....

Love the plot, and the author, but way too flowery

Struggled to finish because of the over done description. I love the author, but this needs to be edited down for more simplicity in describing setting and character appearances. Granted she's describing Heaven, but the over use of the same terms was extremely distracting and got annoying.

Awesome

I read the book first but the story comes alive when you can hear it and visualize it. Very informative and a good read for Christian scholars. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants answers about the fall.

Very interesting subject matter 😎

It's cool to see a take on this topic. And see how it's woven into the Bible.

At times, it was hard to follow the story though because of the time jumps in the story. And with different characters... the voice work needs more distinction.

But it's worth a read. I plan to read the next book in the series.

written like a Danielle Steel novel.

really wanted to like this book, but it was a struggle to get through. it was a good idea for a story, but fails due to the boring plot, bland generic characters, poor research and overuse of the words balmy and bareback.poorly written and executed.

Epic story in line with the Bible

Majority of the works in this book were in line with the Bible. Which leads me to believe that the author must’ve had some revelation of sorts. Only draw back is the overtly descriptiveness of the book. Too much detail went into trying to paint a picture in the readers mind. They could’ve chilled on that.

Binge listened! 😂

Took a while to get used to the narrator after having read telhe book with my own imagined voices in my head. But still absolutely riveting. I do feel like Wendy overdoes it a bit with description. Like yes, we get it. They're absolutely beautiful.
But overall a stunning audio version

Best novel I’ve listened to in a long time

Loved this book! The story and reading performance were both fantastic. It is such an interesting, behind-the-scenes perspective, so to speak, on creation and the spiritual realm. Beyond just being very entertaining, what really stuck out to me was the sense of how valuable and precious human beings are to God. This is an incredible love story of the lengths God went to be with his creation. The portrayal of Lucifer and his scheming was so believable in light of Scripture. So well done. I can’t wait to listen to the other ones. I hope these are made into movies. People are so drawn to the spiritual and this is a fantastic glimpse into that world. While it is fiction, it communicates truth. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good story and/or is interested in the spiritual realm, or to anyone interested in what Christianity is all about.

A divinely good listen!

I loved this this from the first time I laid hands on the paperback. The story is the perfect marriage of science, spirituality, religion and it reads like a graphic novel. Might I also add, The Fall of Lucifer has been narrated perfectly!

Awesome!

I've heard about this, wondered about this, read about this and really thought about this ... just never managed to 'clearly' put it all together as Wendy has managed to. A GREAT introduction. Now for Book 2 :o)

Outstanding performance

The narrator really made this story come to life. As to the story itself, it was an interesting take on the scriptures. Well written. Perhaps an overabundance of testosterone since there wasn't even ONE female character (aside from Eve, Mary and a Jordanian princess, the latter speaking more than three lines of dialogue, which is more than I can say for the other 2 female characters).

Demonically dreadful

How difficult could it be to screw up a rewrite of John Milton's epic poem 'Paradise Lost'? In the case of 'The Fall of Lucifer' it appears to be very easily done. Not only is the narrative irritating in the extreme with 2 dimensional characters and laughable dialogue (think 'The book of mormon') but the writing itself is just grotesque.I listened in a state of appalled bemusement at the use of the same adjectives being used with embarrassing frequency. If this were fan fiction it would just be silly. In this case I find the entire book utterly offensive to literature. Suddenly E.L James doesn't seem so awful. Oh, and for some reason the narrator's voice is doubled throughout as though a choir of Cherubim were chanting this god awful book in unison. There is a special circle in hell reserved for the publisher of this terrible and silly tale.

Magnificent

The story itself is so engaging. Found myself lost in imagination numerous times. Truly a magnificent journey from a more 'spiritual' point of view. Absolutely loved it. The voice acting to this is also insane. Each character truly given thier own unique flavour.
I'm not one for spoilers so how about just get it!

Such an interesting book. Well written and wasn't boring at all. Many concepts in the story that I hadn't considered. look forward to the next book in the series.
