Story
Even before becoming a husband and father, safety had been Shane McDonald’s priority for most of his 45 years. As a nuclear engineer, it’s his responsibility to keep the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant functioning at optimum levels to avoid what protesters fear most: a meltdown. But when a coronal mass ejection from the sun wipes out power across the globe, stopping a nuclear chain reaction is no longer his primary concern.

In the devastating aftermath, she must turn South Minneha Hospital into a place of refuge, a beacon of hope for her fellow survivors. A Riveting Thriller
This audiobook is a gripping domestic thriller that explores the depths of lust, love, and the pursuit of faith. Jimmy's unexpected detour into Eden, Missouri, turns into a harrowing tale of survival and forbidden love. The seemingly quaint town is a far cry from its biblical namesake, unfolding into a landscape of danger and deception.
As Jimmy navigates the complexities of Eden's townsfolk, his encounter with a local woman leads him down a path of love and peril. The story is a compelling examination of how far one might go to regain faith in something greater than oneself. The characters are vividly portrayed, each adding layers of intrigue and suspense to the narrative.
The audiobook narration by Stone is particularly noteworthy, bringing an intense realism to the story. His ability to capture the essence of each character and the emotional turmoil of the plot is remarkable. The reading is so heartfelt that it leaves a lasting impression, making the story unforgettable.
This isn't just a thriller; it's a journey into the human spirit's quest for meaning and redemption. Its a well written story, it was a 5 star prior to the political ideology that was inserted twice. Besides that its a decent read.

Not all is what it seems, some times it’s worse.
Jimmy ends up in a quaint town named Eden, Missouri. Where nothing is as it seems. Dark, full of horror and the unexpected. A story of love, lust and survival. It tests one’s faith. How far will you go for redemption and to get back your faith? This story is a journey into the psychological and spiritual side of one’s self.
Stone Smith makes every character come to life. You can visualize each and every one of them and put yourself into the story.

Good listen, great narration
Story line was good and narration was great. Totally threw me for a loop as the story was not what I was expecting based on the cover pic and sypnosis, but great nonetheless.

Twisted Dark Story
The Fall of Faith is a twisted dark story of a twisted hell hole of a town. The book is set in a small, freaky town of Eden, Missouri. The story is very unique as nothing is as it seems to be. There are parts of this book that will literally make your skin crawl. Lots of dark secrets will be revealed. This is definitely not a town you would want to drive through, let alone step in. Please, please be aware that this book is full of triggers that if you are sensitive, I would not suggest you listen to this at all.
This story, in my opinion, is full of tragedy, despair, darkness, survival, resilience, and strength. This story is so vivid and descriptive that it will make you question faith, fate, and will potentially stay with you after you are done listening to it. In my opinion, the story is that well thought out but definitely depraved psychological thriller. Stone Smith is a phenomenal narrator it made the story real, a little too real it almost gave me nightmares. His voice was heartfelt and really brought out the characters' personsonalites, quirks, and depravity. I would only recommend this book if you can handle the darkness.
I received this book upon my request. This is my honest, unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving here. I am not a religious person, but I think I need to go to church now and ask for a blessing.

"Eden hell on earth"
Jimmy got stuck in a, as he called it" twisted hell hole" village, to only find himself facing his tragic fate.
I won't say a thing about the story, want you to find out for yourselves.
The only thing that I can say is Stone ’s narration of this hearfelt audiobook truly captures all the characters in a way that would blow your mind .his reading of this story will certainly bring you to tears.
Will never be able to get this unique and heartbreaking love story out of my mind.
